The layout of our land in the valleys leaves us more exposed to the risks of climate change, but our steep hills and wet climate could also be used for our benefit.

By introducing mini hydro schemes, and water storage in homes most at risk of flooding, we can turn the topography of our valleys to our advantage, and empower communities who currently worry every time it rains heavily.
